Our staff

Jada Traub, BCBA

Jada earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI and earned her Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of South Florida. Jada is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She has worked with children witth autism and other developmental disabilities for many years, first at Croyden Avenue School in Kalamazoo, MI and then at the Kaufman Children's Center in West Bloomfield, MI. For the last three years, she has been a valued member of the staff at Autism Early Intervention Clinics and ABA Academy.

Katie Caravello, BCaBA

Katie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Florida State University and is completing her Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis at the University of South Florida. Katie has worked with adults with traumatic brain injury in assisted living facilities and has taught parenting classes to foster parents. Katie has worked with children diagnosed with autism for the past five years, the last two of which she spent at Autism Early Intervention Clinics and the ABA Academy.

Brittney Johnson, BCaBA

Brittney earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida and completed the BCaBA coursework at the Florida Institute of Technology. She has recently been accepted by the Sage Graduate School to work towards her Masters of Science degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism. Brittney has been part of our team at Autism Early Intervention Clinics and the ABA Academy for the last two years.

Angela Recht, BCaBA

Angela earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Eckerd College in Saint Petersburg. She recently received her BCaBA and is looking to pursue a Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis at the University of South Florida. Angela has been part of our team at Autism Early Intervention Clinics and the ABA Academy for the last three years.

Itzel Arteaga, Behavior Assistant

Itzel is completing her Bachelor degree at the University of South Florida and intends to apply for the Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis program at the University of South Florida

Matt Bond, Behavior Assistant

Matt received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of South Florida and intends to apply for the Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis program at the University of South Florida.

Frans van Haaren, Ph.D., BCBA-D

Frans earned his Masters and Doctoral degrees in Behavior Analysis from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. He then trained as a post-doctoral associate in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Chicago. Subsequently, he taught behavior analysis and conducted research in the experimental analysis of behavior and behavioral pharmacology at the Netherlands Institute for Brain Research in Amsterdam and the Department of Psychology at the University of Florida in Gainesville. For the past 10 years, Frans has been working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities and their families. He is also the Director of Autism Early Intervention Clinics and the non-profit organization ABATUTORS. Frans consults regularly with families in The Netherlands, France and Spain.
